Our Impact

The first Digital Me workshop was successfully delivered in October 2023 at Samuel Whitbread 6th Form. During this session, students explored how to leverage video as a powerful tool in their job search. Specifically, they learned how to articulate their career aspirations through storytelling and discovered effective strategies to utilize social media platforms to highlight their talents and skills.

As a result of attending these workshops:

  • Each student planned and filmed their own story video.
  • Gain awareness of how they can utilise social media.
  • Learnt filming skills.
  • Developed team working skills.

 

 Engaging with young  talents

October 2023

We collaborated with a group of students from Samuel Whitbread 6th Form, where we guided them on how to use video effectively to highlight their skills and talents for potential employers.

Initially, throughout the workshop, students first explored how professionals utilize video to market not only themselves but also their products and services. Subsequently, this insight provided them with valuable techniques for personal branding.

In order to put these skills into practice, the students then applied a story framework to narrate their own experiences. Furthermore, each participant took on various roles in filming, which not only encouraged creativity but also fostered collaboration within the group.
