To inspire young people, cultivating creativity through film making, founded on the STEAM framework, that provides a head start in employability and community engagement.
What We Do
Filmmaking Workshops
Our workshops cover all aspects of filmmaking, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, acting, directing, cinematography and editing. Our programs are designed to be fun and provide a safe environment for our students to express themselves
Community Engagement
We believe in the importance of giving back to the community. Our workshops often include projects that address local issues, encouraging participants to use their new skills to make a positive impact.
Student Upskilling
Our workshops are designed to equip our students with practical and employability skills. These include learning or improving public speech and other soft skills such as MS Office
Our Values
We nurture creativity by encouraging our students to think outside the box and tell their unique stories through film. Our workshops promote personal growth by teaching practical and employability skills such as teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving in an inclusive and welcoming environment. We believe that learning should be fun, and we design our programs to be engaging and enjoyable for all.

Owner’s Story
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Creative Film Workshops was set up by Timothy Mason in 2012. Tim is a professional videographer with a passion for investing in young people.
He set up Creative Film Workshops while he was working in a school, supporting children with emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties.
During this time he realised that film making could be used to engage previously disengaged young people.
